THE ROOTS OF TASTE
Val Rendena boasts an ancient tradition of delicatessen originating from the travels of local men who, in order to work and support their families, travelled towards the Po Valley during the long winters of the late 1800s.
Many of them migrated to Mantua to find an employment in local slaughterhouses and charcuterie factories. When they returned, they brought with them the precious teachings they had received.
Since those days, Rendena valley has become the cradle that preserves the Salumificio’s passion and taste secrets, elements which are involved in the Salumificio’s production of typical Trentino’s cold cuts.
